MIE Registration Notes

Each Team registering for "Made In Egypt" Competition kindly consider the following notes before registering:

MIE Committee will select the best 200 teams who will continue in the competition phases based on the info included in the application form.

MIE Registration Fees – for selected teams only – is 200 L.E. for the team.

Deadline for confirming registration through payment – 3 August 2009 in EED – should be respected, after that date the payment is doubled.

Selected teams who will pay the required fees will get a confirmation email from MIE that they are officially accepted MIE Teams and they are invited to start Competition’s first phase which is represented in MIE Summer training:

• Only 2 members of the team will attend a summer training camp in Cairo with accommodation support.
• The training will include soft skills, business skills and technical training. The training represents an orientation phase for teams to help in enhancing their entrepreneurial skills to take their innovations into market.
• The training topics are:

• Teamwork
• 6 Thinking Hats
• Entrepreneurship
• Fundamentals of Marketing
• Industry Analysis & Competitive Strategy
• Business Writing
• Project Management
• Intellectual Property (IP) and Copyrights
• Product Design and Development
• How to get a sponsor
